The Snapshot Of Kepulauan Riau Province

Riau Islands Province (acronym as Kepri) is a Province of Indonesia. It comprises the principal group of the Riau Archipelago, together with other island groups to the south, eash and northeast. In Indonesian, Riau Islands and Riau Archipelago are synonymous and are distingushed by the word for province, "Provinsi". Originally part of the Riau Province, the Riau Island were split off as a separate province in July 2004. The Kepri Province has becoming the provincial according to regulations number 25 year of 2002 and it becomes the 32-province in Indonesia located of  Tanjungpinang city, Batam city, Bintan Regency, Karimun Regency, Natuna Regency, and Lingga Regency.

In entire KEPRI territory has 5 regencies and 2 cities, 42 districts as well as 256 villages with totals of 2,408 islands. And it has width approximately 256.601 Km2 where estimated 95% are the ocean and only 5% are land marks.

Kepulauan Riau province is one  of the province with blessing of almighty God as it locates strategy in the main gate of  Malaka Straits from the east as well as central business and central financial in the Asia Pacific of Singapore. Beside of the neighbor of Malaysia.

The Kepulauan Riau province ha become well known in the middle century as business  central and economy fasted growith and cultures growing, presently KEPRI province has increased the economy growth and capable to becoming one of the largest central business in Republic of Indonesia.

Kepulauan Riau has variety of natural resources that could be tourisme attraction at international stage, for the reason that tourism sector has become one of the biggest income in the region and state government. We find variety of stunning tourism scenery in Kepulauan Riau province and history and history tourism has become the phenomena in Indonesia.
